The C350 Chelsea guides the Kato × White’s Boots collaboration in a more streamlined direction, while keeping the same build standard at its core. Part of the Triple Black Series, it follows the same all-black aesthetic as the rest of the collection—rugged, rebellious, and built for comfort.
Chelsea boots originated in 1837. Originally called "paddock boots," this style is often approached from a more dressy and delicate perspective. This Chelsea is built with a different point of view. The C350 takes the ease of a pull-on and gives it the structure, support, and the enduring build philosophy of White’s.
Built entirely by hand in Spokane, Washington, it carries the same disciplined construction and material integrity that define the rest of the Kato × White’s line.
Construction
The C350 is built entirely by hand in Spokane, Washington, using White’s stitchdown construction, a method chosen for its stability, durability, and long-term serviceability.
This build creates a broader, more grounded platform underfoot and allows the boot to be fully resoled and rebuilt over time. A leather shank and leather midsole add structure through the arch and give the boot the kind of support rarely found in a Chelsea.
Single-row outsole stitching keeps the profile clean and straightforward, while reinforcing the boot’s long-wearing construction.
Like the rest of the Triple Black Series, the C350 is built to stay in rotation—not for a season, but for years.
Leather
The upper is cut from full-grain matte black leather with a clean finish and subtle natural texture. Durable, understated, and built for repeated wear, it softens gradually and takes on shape with time.
The leather is paired with heavy-duty black elastic side panels for easy entry and a secure fit. Built to hold tension and maintain structure, they keep the silhouette clean while allowing the boot to easily pull on and off the foot.
An unstructured toe box keeps the shape relaxed and natural, allowing the leather to break in with more ease and develop character through wear.
Last & Fit
The C350 is built on White’s 55 Arch-Ease™ Last, known for its supportive shape and secure fit.
The elevated arch provides structure through the foot while keeping the profile balanced and clean. Combined with the Chelsea silhouette, it creates a boot that feels supportive underfoot without adding unnecessary bulk.
